As part of the Hypertension Awareness Program at VELS Medical College and Hospital (VMCH), a video highlighting the symptoms and preventive measures of hypertension was created and posted on the hospital’s TV system and social media platforms. The video was created by 2nd-year MBBS students and aimed to educate a broad audience, including patients, visitors, and the online community, about hypertension.
The primary objectives of the video awareness initiative were to raise awareness about the symptoms and risks of hypertension and to educate viewers on effective preventive measures for managing hypertension.
The video was scheduled to play on the hospital’s internal TV system, ensuring it was visible in waiting areas, outpatient departments, and other high-traffic locations within the hospital. The video was played at regular intervals throughout the day to maximize viewership.
