The Department of Pharmacology organized a one-day conference on Good Clinical Practice (GCP) on the 10th of September 2024. The event was held at Lecture Hall 2, Academic Block, VMCH, and was well-attended by esteemed guests, faculty members, and students.
The inaugural session was graced by prominent guests, including the Dean, Dr. Kumudha Lingaraj; Vice Principal, Dr. Prince J Samuel; HOD, Pharmacology Dr. Maignana Kumar;, along with guest speakers, other department HODs and faculty members.
Guest Speakers: The following expert speakers delivered insightful sessions on various aspects of clinical research and ethics:

Conclusion: The event provided valuable insights into the Good Clinical Practice guidelines, emphasizing the ethical responsibilities in clinical research. Both faculty and students expressed great appreciation for the knowledge shared by the guest speakers. Around 75 faculty members and 250 students were present for the event.
